Accessibility statement
Last updated 30 October 2026
AccessiblePress offers accessible document templates, so this site has to be accessible too. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on every page.
How we test
- Automated checks with axe on every page, run before each release.
- Keyboard-only use of every page, from browsing to download.
- Screen reader testing with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
- Zoom to 400% and text spacing overrides, checked for lost content.
Downloads work without JavaScript: every file is an ordinary link, with no form or signup in the way. The course signup form works without JavaScript too.
Known limitations
The email asking you to confirm a course signup, and the page you land on when you confirm, come from Kit, our newsletter provider. We can’t change them. If they give you trouble, write to us and we’ll add your address by hand.
The templates themselves
Every template file passes Word’s accessibility checker and opens cleanly in Google Docs.
The design choices in each kit, and the success criteria behind them, are listed on Why they’re built this way.
Report a problem
If anything here is hard to use, write to hello@accessiblepress.com. A person reads every message and will reply within two working days.
