About AccessiblePress

Last updated 30 October 2026

Brian Stoffer has spent more than 30 years leading digital work in higher education and agencies. He is Associate Vice President of Website Development and Digital Marketing at Academy of Art University, where he leads the web team and directs the university’s website redesign. Before that he led a $2M redesign and replatforming at Smith College and a 20,000-page CMS migration at Mount Holyoke College. Accessibility has been part of that work throughout, and it’s the focus of AccessiblePress.

Hi, I’m Brian Stoffer. I’ve spent much of my career building and managing websites, including about 15 years working with WCAG and Section 508 requirements, and web and PDF remediation.

I built AccessiblePress to help people start with better documents. An accessible starting point can make the work easier, especially when you’re creating something other people need to read, understand and use. The templates come with practical guidance because the content you add matters, too.

My daughter inspired me to expand that work with resources designed with dyslexic readers in mind. I want to help people find useful information and create documents they can adapt to their own needs. Those resources will always be free.

My background is in digital accessibility and document design. For the dyslexia collection, I draw on published guidance and research, with references so you can explore further. Readers have different preferences, and there’s no single font or layout that works for everyone.

AccessiblePress is a small, independent project. My hope is that something here makes your next document a little easier to create, and a little easier for someone else to use.
